Howe G15s

Chess tournament, sponsored by the Howe Library in Hanover, New Hampshire
13 South Street, Hanover, NH
Saturday, December 19, 2009
10:00 am to 4:15 pm at Mayer Room

Open to adults and children.

7 rounds, Swiss System, G/15.  No entry fee.
USCF-rated Open and Unrated sections.
First round at 10:30 am.  Subsequent rounds at 11:15, 12:00, 1:30, 2:15, 3:00, and 3:45.

Please bring boards, sets, and clocks if you have them.

Get a quick lunch nearby (Ramuntos, Boloco, Ben and Jerry's, Gusanoz, C&A...) or bring your own.

Pre-registration by e-mail is preferred so that we can start on time.
However, we will accept same-day registration from 10:00 to 10:15 am
(enter through back door from parking lot).  Pre-registered players
must check in by 10:20 am.  Please be prompt.


USCF membership allows chess players to earn a chess rating in the
official national rating system.  Membership is available from
http://www.uschess.org/.  The annual dues are:  Adult  $29; Young
Adult (24 or under)  $24; Youth (15 or under)  $20; Scholastic (12 or
under)  $16.  USCF membership is NOT required to play in this
tournament.

Directions to the Howe Library

I91 to Exit 13:
Follow signs across bridge to Hanover; turn right at the light on Main Street
Go straight through the light by the post office; turn left at the next intersection on East South Street
Go one block; library is on the right.

Follow Route 120 to Hanover; take left fork at the light onto Lebanon St.
G past the high school and left on Sanborn Rd just past the church
Follow the road as it bends to the right; library is on your left.
