South Hero Chess Club

We have a teaching and competing chess club here at Folsom School in South Hero.

The chess club meets on Thursday afternoons from 2:34-3:40 at the Folsom School in South Hero. This is a drop in club but it would be great to have folks give me an email before they arrive so that I can be sure to have enough boards for all of the kids. The general format will be for kids to warm-up with some drills and problems and then play a couple of games rotating partners and sides.

I would be glad to bring some of our students to schools in our area to help them get their clubs off the ground. We have last year's third grade chess champ and several other strong finishers from the State tournament.
